in Lebanon
| In
a significant strategic move amidst renewed efforts
by private and public sector companies to accelerate
the recovery of the Lebanese economy by investing heavily
in the country, Orient Planet PR and Marketing Communications,
one of the fastest growing marketing consultancies in
the Middle East, has opened a regional office for the
Levant region in Beirut.
The
Beirut office, the first regional office for Orient
Planet outside the Gulf, will allow the company to serve

"The
opening of our Beirut office coincides with the growth of
the Lebanese economy," said Nidal Abou Zaki, Managing
Director, Orient Planet PR and Marketing Communications. "Latest
studies have revealed that marketing consultancy is a catalyst
for business growth, underlining the central importance marketing
and PR hold for today's companies. We see Lebanon as a key
market with immense untapped potential. Lebanon has a competitive
and free market economy which is showing clear signs of recovery."
"We had conducted a study on the growth prospects of
the Lebanese market to assess the feasibility of opening a
regional office in Beirut, and the results were extremely
positive, as they pointed to a significant economic turnaround
over the next few years. We have complete faith in the potential
of the Lebanese economy, and we look forward to building long-term,
successful partnerships with local companies, as well as with
Arab and global companies which have set up operations in
the country," Abou Zaki added.
"Orient Planet has been working closely with several
organizations based in the Levant region, addressing their
requirements from its Dubai headquarters for the past 3 years.
However, we felt it imperative to have a direct presence in
the region in order to serve them more resourcefully and in
close proximity," Abou Zaki said. "Many fast-growing
companies in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan have ambitions for
a regional and international presence, and are hence more
appreciative now of the need to adopt an efficient and carefully-crafted
marketing communications strategy. Having a direct presence
in the Levant will enable us to help regional companies gain
a competitive edge by leveraging our expertise in providing
cutting-edge Public Relations and marketing communications
services."
Over the years, a host of blue-chip companies in the Middle
East have chosen to leverage the expertise of Orient Planet
to boost their communication strategies. The company's client
list comprises leading names representing a broad scope of
economic activity, including Panasonic, Adobe, Shell, Bosch,
Info2cell, Nakheel, Dubai eGovernment, Ducab and the Jebel
Ali Free Zone.
"We have witnessed exponential growth in recent times,
emerging as one of the foremost marketing consultancies in
the Middle East. By providing clear-sighted strategies that
effectively address their specific communication and marketing
needs, Orient Planet has helped a wide range of companies
in the region to enhance their brand image and boost business
growth," Abou Zaki said.
"We are aware that the decision to open an office in
Beirut brings its own challenges as the Levant market is yet
to attain the maturity of the Arabian Gulf market. However,
having set new standards in successfully providing innovative,
end-to-end PR and marketing communication solutions to businesses
across the GCC, we are confident that by continuing to adopt
industry best practices we can overcome these challenges and
tap new opportunities," Abou Zaki added.
